Early cervical
cancer detection,
built for the last mile.

CarciScan is an at-home HPV self-test bringing screening to the 22.2M Filipino women who never make it to a clinic. Backed by a positive HTA Council financing recommendation and a growing international evidence base.

The Opportunity

Cervical cancer is preventable. Access isn't the problem — reach is.

The Philippines has 22.2 million women eligible for screening, most of whom are priced or distanced out of clinic-based Pap smears. CarciScan turns that gap into an addressable market.

Evidence, Reviewed Honestly

What the data supports — and what it doesn't, yet.

We present this evidence the way it would survive due diligence: real studies, real caveats, no inflated volumes.

Feb 2026

Karolinska / WHO Reference Center collaborative study Preprint

Dillner et al., medRxiv, 4 Feb 2026 — a 10-country, 13-assay evaluation in which a Turkish reference lab used CarciScan as its assay. Pooled results across all assays: 90.08% sensitivity / 92% specificity.

Caveat: results are pooled across assays with no CarciScan-specific breakout, and the paper is a preprint — not yet peer-reviewed.
2025

Ghana screening protocol Peer-reviewed

Taumberger et al., Cancer Control (SAGE), 2025 — a published, peer-reviewed protocol for an n=1,000 study using CarciScan as the assay.

Caveat: this is the study protocol only. Interim results are expected ~Jan 2026; the full study concludes in 2029.

Context

Turkey demonstrates national-scale feasibility

Turkey's national program has screened roughly 4.1M women using HPV DNA testing at scale — evidence that population-level HPV self/self-collect screening works operationally in a comparable health system.

We deliberately do not claim that CarciScan itself screened this volume in Turkey — the product-specific figure is unverified. What's supportable is program-level feasibility, and it's exactly what we present to investors.
